This is the time for plenty of Christmas cheer; seasonal parties and a time to let your hair down. It's great fun and in these winter months, a chance to feel more cheerful! However - and I don't want to be a killjoy, it is a time when many people strain their voices! Their voices might become husky and in the worst instances, their vocal folds are damaged (eek!)
Either they are shouting over loud music, singing along with music or taking too much alcohol.
In this week's podcast, I share top tips for avoiding vocal strain. If you have these tips in the back of your mind, you can still enjoy your parties, but avoid vocal damage.
