On this important day: 11th November 2014, I have been reflecting on my country's history (The United Kingdom) and thanking a previous generation for their sacrifices. Reflecting is an invaluable activity; whether you are reviewing how well a project is going; whether a particular person is working well within a team or even whether or not an audience is truly engaging with you.
In the latest Superstar Communicator podcast, I share the benefits of stepping back and reflecting on a situation. Even if you are having a conversation with someone, reflecting the language they use, their body language and tone of voice - rather than taking this information in a sub-conscious way, is beneficial. If we can learn to reflect AS WELL as communicating we'll all be better people!
